“Did God reveal COVID-19 to me [before the pandemic]? I think he did. Just not in the way I was expecting!”
That remark is part of the description for this video, in which UK-based Prophet Tomi Arayomi shares a message from one of the users of his viral RIG Nation mobile app that he wishes he never ignored. The message was from a woman in Florida, USA, who in 2019 messaged him through the app, sharing two separate dreams she had about Disney World in Florida (which is near her) closing down because of a “plague” or “virus” scare.
This is the second time I’m seeing this kind of message from Tomi Arayomi where he says no ONE prophet is going to see it all – since we know, see and prophesy in part as per verses 9 and 12 of 1 Corinthians 13 in the Bible. The Corona pandemic caught most people on this planet off guard – including him that is quite prophetic. But Prophet Aroyomi knows that there were others who were warned prophetically IN ADVANCE about it – and he is fine with that.
At ApocalypseNowMedia.com, I’m interested not just in the substance of the prophecy, but in the dynamics around receiving and disseminating prophecies as well – including God’s motives and our (or the prophet’s) motives around those prophecies, etc.
Tomi Arayomi touches on some of these crucial dynamics in this short video, and I take the time to put in writing what he said in hopes that we do NOT miss it. Here are excerpts from what Prophet Tomi Arayomi said in the video published on April 9, 2020:
…Of all the things that I saw this year for the nations, Corona was not even on my radar. Honestly, there’s been so much that has come to pass, just in the month of January alone – which many of you have seen.
But I was almost heart-broken for a second that the Lord missed this part out. And I kind of said, “God, why?”
But then I realized that, first of all, listen: The Bible says we see in part, we know in part, and we prophesy in part. [1 Corinthians 13:9]
It humbles me to know that God will speak to us all in parts. Why? Because He doesn’t want any ONE of us to take all the glory for what He alone can do. God is not just interested in one prophet; He wants to raise a prophetic people.
Like Moses said, it’s his desire that all God’s people were prophets and that God would put His spirit on them all. [Numbers ]
Secondly, listen: There is no junior Holy Spirit. The same Holy Spirit that speaks to me speaks to YOU as well.
So when you say in the comments: “What about my country, Tomi? What about my nation? When are you going to give a word for my nation?”
Well, here’s my response. Why don’t YOU rise up as a voice for your nation? One man or one woman cannot see it all. It takes many parts coming together to make a whole!
God DID tell me that Corona was coming. He told me through this woman on my app who had this from 2019.
I have always preached that God is raising up the many voices and not just one, and many of you probably saw this coronavirus coming. For this is a season of God pouring out His Spirit on ALL flesh, and not just some flesh.
Again, I say, I did not see Corona in any of my discussions with the Lord. And for that I’m glad that the Lord has chosen to raise up many other prophets who carry the same anointing, and if not a stronger anointing than mine…
