As the whole world knows by now, Trump was acquitted by the US Senate of Impeachment charges of inciting the January 6 riots that rocked Capitol Hill. If you have paid attention to Kim Clement’s “Impeach! Impeach!” prophecy from February 2014 (that said impeachment efforts of Obama’s successor would fail), and Yamkela Joseph’s Impeachment 2.0 prophecy from early December 2020 — and if you paid attention even to secular analyses of the Impeachment 2.0 drama predicting insufficient votes to find Trump guilty — Trump’s Acquittal 2.0 is not a big surprise.
Given the relative silence from Trump these days (following his social media ban), what caught my interest was Donald Trump’s statement after the win — specifically a) Trump’s comment about the double standards in the American political scene, as well as b) the end of statement when he touched on things to come in the “months ahead”.

Trump released a statement after his Senate victory, thanking his Impeachment 2.0 defence lawyers for their dedication and efforts, and his supporters for their support. The CBN News article link above (the tweet) has the transcript of the statement.
I think Mr. Trump was right in his assessment of the double standards in US politics, where one party is given a “free pass” by the liberal mainstream press, politicians, and justice system to do the very things they crucify the other major party for (allegedly) doing:
It is a sad commentary on our times that one political party in America is given a free pass to denigrate the rule of law, defame law enforcement, cheer mobs, excuse rioters, and transform justice into a tool of political vengeance, and persecute, blacklist, cancel and suppress all people and viewpoints with whom or which they disagree.
And I can only imagine — now that his political opponents have failed to make him ineligible for another shot at the office of POTUS — that MAGA supporters (and said opponents for that matter) will be anticipating what POTUS45 has in mind given what he said at the end of the statement:
Our historic, patriotic and beautiful movement to Make America Great Again has only just begun. In the months ahead I have much to share with you, and I look forward to continuing our incredible journey together to achieve American greatness for all of our people. There has never been anything like it! We have so much work ahead of us, and soon we will emerge with a vision for a bright, radiant, and limitless American future.
So ultimately Impeachment 2.0 failed because only 57 Senators found Trump guilty of the charges — shy of the 67 votes needed to bar Trump from seeking office again. And after Acquittal 2.0, perhaps the countdown has begun to POTUS45 2.0 (i.e second term)…
